Our Hunger Relief meeting will be on Monday, December 15th @ 7 pm. All are invited.
Soup Cookoff & Auction: More Soup entries are needed. Consider signing up at the Welcome Desk today. In preparation for the event, we welcome donations of themed gift baskets, hand crafted items, and baked goods for the auction. Bring them to the Youth Director office. In an effort to improve time efficiency we plan to separate used items to a table in the foyer for buyers to offer a donation. New items, handmade items, baked items, certificates, etc. will be auctioned as usual. Any used items from the donation table that remain at the end of the evening will be donated to a local thrift store. All proceeds this year will go towards our playground & pavilion.
Apparel Sale: an apparel sale has been set up to offer items with the Pigeon River logo for times in which we are out in the community. The profits from the apparel sale will go toward the pavilion and playground project. The online store is currently open and will close on Dec 7th. Please use the link to place your order. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.
Our next Soil and Seed Project begins TODAY with an Advent selection. If you would like paper versions and a cd please contact the office or click on the link for a downloadable version of "Year A".
The Harvest Offering has become a traditional event here at PR since the 1940's. Your donations will be accepted Dec thru January 4, 2026. Please designate your gift as Harvest offering. You may add a specific ministry if desired. December 21st will be Harvest Offering Sunday where all money is given to that cause.
Pledges for the Playground/Pavilion can be made now. Please mark in the memo line or designate on-line for this selection.
Donations of goodies, snacks, for the Christmas packs both to the Huron county jail and our Seniors/primary attendees are due before December 13 @ 9 am. Please individually wrap. Please consider including ingredients for our peanut allergies. Thank you
Looking for motivation to move more? The Laker Legacy Center is beginning a walking challenge December 1. Faithfully Fit 2026 participants can join the Legacy Center for only $30 for the 4-month period of December-March. Let Marie know if you want to participate. Plans are underway for Faithfully Fit 2026. Start thinking about your goals now.
