Labor Day Campout: We have two of our Hispanic families who would like to camp with us at Covenant Hills this year. We have sites reserved for them, but are in need of campers or tents and the related gear. If you have extra that would be willing to share or are not planning to attend this year and would be willing to loan things out, please contact the office as soon as possible.

MCC webinar Welcoming the Stranger: Stories of Faith, Immigration, and Hope – Tuesday, July 28 at 2 p.m. EDT (for 1 hour and 15 minutes)

In this webinar, we will share stories from three churches and leaders (including Pastor Dave) like you who are putting faith into action — welcoming and supporting immigrants, facing challenges in their communities, and building congregations that respond with compassion and courage.

Speaking from a variety of perspectives across Anabaptist traditions, we’ll talk about themes like faith in action, ministry with immigrant communities, lessons learned, and practical ways churches can respond to the reality’s immigrant families are facing today.

Pastors, church leaders, and congregants looking for inspiration and practical ways to get involved are invited to attend.

Register today for this free event at mcc.org/welcoming-stranger or contact abrahamdiazalonso@mcc.org with any questions.

Next Breadbasket is August 8th. Please consider helping with the distribution.
