Announcements…

 

This week the Menno Knights walked 372 more miles and have made it all the way around Lake Superior. They are on the eastern side of Lake Huron. Help cheer them on to get all the way around all five of the Great Lakes! The group lost another 6 pounds and have passed the 150 pound mark.  

 

CMC International Affiliates in Nicaragua have an urgent need. There were two hurricanes in Nicaragua that has affected CMC affiliate congregations. 142 families are without adequate housing. They have set a goal of raising $30,000 to help these families. If you would like to donate, donations can be made online at https://cmcrosedale.org/nicaragua/ or mailed to the CMC office. The deadline for these donations is

February 25.

 

A thank you letter from Mary Maarsen in Holland is posted on the bulletin board. Please take the time to read how she and her daughter are continuing to minister to the refugees in their country.

Join MCC for a 30-minute information session about MCC's Sharing With Appalachian People (SWAP) program on Thursday, February 25 at 10 a.m. EST. SWAP is a service and learning program that uses volunteers to address sub-standard housing in eastern Kentucky and West Virginia.
