The Menno Knights walked another 393 miles last week and have now made it to Detroit with the goal of circling both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Several people posted more miles than ever last week. The weight loss is slowing down with some people actually gaining weight. But we managed to lose a combined total of 4.4 pounds with over 156 pounds lost so far.

Ladies, take heed! We are going to start having Sewing again on March 3.  It will be in the afternoon, 1:30– 4 pm each week on Wednesday. There will be no snacks, but we will have bottled water available or you can bring your own beverage. The church will be open so if you are comfortable with coming, please join us. We will still practice wearing a mask and will be mindful of distancing.

The leadership team wants to hear from you. Please take a few moments to complete this survey. You can do this online from the link you find in your email. Or you can contact the office for a paper copy to submit your responses. Your responses will be reviewed by the elders who will share a summary with the pastors. Please complete the survey by March 21, 2021. Thank you.

On March 14th, we will be celebrating communion together at our in person worship service using pre-packaged elements. If you worship online, please be prepared with your own elements or contact the office to have elements delivered to you in advance of the service. We will also be accepting donations for the sharing fund that Sunday. We invite you to be in a spirit of preparation for this act of worship.

SWAP summer staff positions for Job Site Coordinators and Meals Coordinators are now open. Applicants should be at least 19 years old, but the roles are not limited to young adults. For more information and to apply, visit mcc.org/swap-summer-staff or contact the MCC Appalachia SWAP office at (606) 633-4008 or AppalachiaAdmin@mcc.org.
