August 8, 2017 Working It Out How many times have you sung or even heard the song Jesus Will Work It Out? Probably countless times I'm sure. But, does it still hold the same valuable meaning or has it been sung and heard so much it has become cliche. When you look at the word work the definition is exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplish something. So when we say Jesus will work it out what is He doing? What is He trying to accomplish? This varies by situation when it comes to living this life but it's all leading to the ultimate accomplishment which is entry into glory! Your very situation(s) you've been praying and fasting and needing God to work it out but in the midst of it don't miss Him trying to work something in you. For every test, trial, and suffering endured is building endurance in this long yet temporary walk of life. So though at times it seems impossible that God is moving on your behalf or working it out there are pieces, people, and obstacles being moved sometimes without your knowledge, but if you're asking God to work it out it's going to require trust on your behalf. It's also best you try not to focus on God's timetable of working things out I've found you'll only find yourself getting frustrated. Sometimes He's expedient in working things out and sometimes it takes time but however much time, one thing is true the outcome will be for our good. So whatever it is you need God to work out, hold fast for in due season you shall reap if you faint not. Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." ~Minister Poet~
