Unable to set font on a Bible verse to a usable size...
Proclaim insists on scaling the font, even if that means scaling it to an unreadable size. Our church has only televisions for monitors, so I need to keep the font large. (When we used MediaShout, it provided fixed fonts and we had consistent formatting.) None of the formatting options seem to have any effect. See attached.
Inserting breaks and newlines did not induce a scale-up in font size, unlike on other non-Bible slide types.
- Justin, I adjusted the template to use a smaller font (100 instead of 200), inserted page breaks, and then re-applied the template. It appears that re-applying the template forced a resize. I'll let you know if this works for the rest of the slides.
- I'm leaving for a church dinner soon. I'll try this on the TVs and let you know the results.
- Jordan, I need to understand template behavior better. It would appear that any modified slide is immune to a template override. For the original issue, I had to split spans of multiple verses into single verses (tedious), and then split these down to a few words. Only then would the auto-scaling render the text to a readable size. Seriously, the auto-scaling based on Logos-locked paragraph formatting adds work to my weekly service preparation. Thank you for your prompt response. For single verses, such as EP 5:33 AMP, its not possible to scale to a readable slide because it considers the entire verse, not my instructions.
