I just started the Greek course. I had Greek in seminary about 25 years ago. I still remember some of it but I'm starting from the beginning because of 'gaps' in my knowledge. Thankful to John Schwandt for the course.
What helps have others found in pronunciation? I'd like to be able to pronounce Greek better. I think in Seminary I used a different pronunciation system...but I plan on using the Koine system. Are there audio Greek New Testaments using that system that I might read along with?
Also, are there answers to the exercises in the book somewhere? I looked at the table of contents but didn't see any. Does the Nunn book give answers? Thanks!
- John Schwandt I really appreciate your replies and taking time out to answer. I was wondering, do you know of someone, a student perhaps, who would be willing to connect with me over Zoom a few times to help me with my pronunciation? It could just be reading the Greek New Testament together so I could make sure to get things right. I'd be willing to pay them for their time and effort ;)
- My pleasure. You might consider joining this group and asking the question there.
- Thanks John Schwandt. Just joined!!
