This is one of my favorite articles from the Art of Manliness. He makes the case that men should attend church even if they don't believe (yet). I think this argument has a lot of validity
The author notes that the primary reason for church attendance decline is the feeling that church is not necessary for personal happiness. There is a sense of optionality, he notes, with church and yet he outlines the reasons for men to start or continue attending.
