When a song has the same title, why does it delete one and makes only one available..is there a way to stop this from happening. Any assistance will be appreciated.
Thank you

- Susi Carbonneau that is a good work around. You are changing the name of the service item itself and reusing the item. However, if you were to add a new song and try to type ‘Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)’ the lyrics and verse order from My Songs would be which ever one you last edited for that.
- If I'm understanding you correctly, you saying that someone might follow this path: Add Item/Song and then type in the name of the song in the middle screen. Yes, that pulls up my song database. I see what you mean: using my illustration on my attachment, Psalm 100 (ver 2) doesn't show up in the song database, only Psalm 100. And since ver 2 was the last one I "used," that's the one that comes up. So I can confirm that it's much easier to "reuse" an item for this very reason!! I consider reusing an item a "best practice," not a "work around"!!! But thanks for showing me the difference. I've just never used the song database except to download something from CCLI!!
- Right Reuse items is a great way to use Proclaim and as you’ve shown works well for songs!
