I am experiencing a strange problem, but maybe I just have something configured wrong. I have a series of notes that are anchored to a specific Bible verse (reference, not text selection). The note flags appear at the anchored reference location but they also appear at the beginning of the chapter. What’s weird is this is not happening in some Bible translations. So, for example, I’m seeing the problem in KJV and NASB, but not in the NKJV or ESV (I have not examined other Bible translations besides these). Did I just enable some setting that caused this in these translations? I’m seeing this on Logos desktop version on Mac and on the iOS apps.
Weirder yet it seems only like it’s happening with two chapters of the Bible: Revs 12 and 13. I’m not seeing this anywhere else (so far). Have I fallen into some kind of apocalyptic black hole?
- Here is what it looks like. First image shows the proliferation of note flags on Rev 12 in KJV, vs the "correct" number of flags in the NKJV. Next image shows a tool tip of a sample note. Third image is the actual note showing the correct (and limited) reference anchor solely to Rev 12:5.
