I am very new and struggling with the search engine. It seems very inconsistent in response to words.
How do you do a basic search to translate from hebrew to english?
How do you do a basic search to translate hebrew to transliterate?
- Hi Roderick - and welcome. I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do. I don't know Hebrew but I do know there isn't a simple translation from it to English. Instead of using the search engine have you looked at the Bible Word Study Guide for this? Right-click the word, select the lemma and then Bible Word Study - https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016462892-Bible-Word-Study-Greek- outlines doing this in Greek but the same principles apply for Hebrew. Then the Lemma section provides easy access to lexicons to show how the word has been translated while the translation ring shows how the word is translated in a particular version (first image) Or if you want to see where a Hebrew word is translated with a particular English word you can use a Bible Search with the INTERSECTS operator such as: <Lemma = lbs/he/בַּ֫יִן> INTERSECTS between Does this help at all? If you provide more details of what you are trying to achieve, we can probably point you in the right direction. Graham
