Have you ever been wrongfully accused for something? Then that puts you in the same category as our bible character here, Joseph. When Joseph was 17, God gave him a dream that invoked jealousy in his brothers. These dreams led to him being sold into slavery. Once in Egypt, he was made an overseer in Potiphar’s house, where Potiphar’s wife would wrongly accuse him. Then Joseph was thrown into prison! But in prison, the keeper committed the prisoners to Joseph’s hand. It is amazing to see how God helped Joseph in each situation. God helped something good come out of a bad situation each time. Have you been wrongfully accused? Just for today, look back and see how God worked that out for His glory. How did God come to your side in those situations? Remember in Matthew 5:11-12a when Jesus said, “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven:”
As discouraging as your situation may be, see how God may be moving in your life in those situations.
