Genesis 50:20 is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. After all was said and done between Joseph and his brothers, Joseph made this profound statement: “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good,” Satan is your enemy, and it is his desire to set snares and traps for you. He wants evil to reign in your life, and he wants to see your utter destruction-but don’t ever forget that God is always working! Romans 8:28 is a perfect cross-reference here: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Every situation and circumstance that you encounter must have God’s approval. Nothing can touch our lives that doesn’t first pass through His hands.
So just for today, realize that each circumstance you face will work together for good. Don’t try to ponder how, just trust God that He will make it so.
