and to him who has no might he increases strength.
(Isaiah 40:28–29).
In these wearying times it is good to remember these words from Isaiah. You are weary . . . God is not. We don't know what to do (about so many things) He knows exactly what needs to be done.
The Lord is where we must turn in these times. In a world of anger and churning, He gives rest. In a campaign season of unlikely promises, He tells us what is true. At a time when we are worn out, He gives us strength.
Don't drift from Him! Instead, draw close and know His strength and peace.
Our Anchor 10.17.20
Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
(Isaiah 40:28–29).
