This week at MCF, we’ll be gathering together (by live-stream and in person) on this first Sunday of the month to worship the Lord through Scripture, songs, prayers, and Communion.
To begin, Psalm 95 will serve as God’s invitation to us, gathering us into worship. We will respond together in song with All Creatures Of Our God And King. Then, in the presence of our holy God, the words of Psalm 32:1-6 will bring us to a place of confession before Him. After a time of confessional prayer, both silent and spoken together aloud, we will declare to God in song, “Lord I Need You.” As we continue to hear from God through His Word, Scripture will proclaim the assurance of forgiveness and salvation that we have through faith in Jesus Christ. All this leads to Communion, where we'll remember the sacrificial death of Christ on our behalf. Songs of hope in Him, Christ Our Hope in Life and Death and Living Hope will be the bookends for this remembrance of the broken body and shed blood of Christ, which purchased our forgiveness and opened the way for us to have eternal life in Him.
Marcia Jarrett will lead a special Kids’ Time for our children to talk about prayer, and this will move us into a time of Congregational Prayer together, followed by the song What A Friend. Lastly, we’ll finish our time together by praying for our Giving, and be sent out with a Benediction. As always, tell us how we can be praying for you. Send your prayer requests to:prayer@meadowsfamily.org.
Please find just a few moments to prayerfully prepare for worship this week. Through prayerful reflection, let the Scripture and songs above prepare your heart and mind to meet with the Lord in worship. Remember that attendance is still limited at our in-person services right now, so you must register if you’d like to attend. Click here to register:Meadows Christian Fellowship Registration Form.
May the Lord build up His church through our worship of Him this week!
