How will you respond to God’s free offer for eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ?
God is perfectly Holy and Righteous, He must punish every sin that has ever been committed or He is not a righteous God. God’s infinite love can not and will not distort His perfect righteousness, He must punish every sin that has ever been committed.
Every man born of Adam is under sin, our hearts are desperately wicked (according to God) because we are selfish, prideful, and greedy instead of Loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and loving our neighbor. God’s definition of love (agape in the Greek) is where we make a choice to sacrifice for another, for their good and the Glory of God. Every person is a sinner and is condemned to hell unless their sins are forgiven.
Jesus Christ is God and became man to live a perfect life performing miracles, and to teach mankind the truth directly from God, then He was humiliated, spit upon, slapped, scourged, and crucified. He died according to scriptures, He was buried, and rose on the 3rd day according to scriptures and seen by over 500 people as He appeared over 40 days to different people recorded in scripture. He then ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father.
What will your response be to God who offered His only begotten son to die on the cross to pay for the sins of those people who will repent of their sinful life and have faith in Jesus Christ? God wants you to agree with Him and for you to respond by giving up your sinful life, and trust Jesus, that He paid for all of your sins, and you trust Him to guide you and teach you to live the rest of your life following Him, obeying all that He commanded in the Bible.
Do you think you can be saved or go to heaven by keeping God’s law? God will not justify any person based on their own merits, because we are sinful.
But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;— Romans 3:21-24
