Does anyone know of a way to adjust volume between sections of proclaim? We meet in a movie theater and use their HUGE projectors and audio systems. We plug in using HDMI from our Proclaim laptop. It totally cuts out an option for a sound board for pre-service music, countdowns, message videos, etc. If we need to adjust the volume, we have to run up the stairs to the projector room! It's different, possibly unique, but for the most part it works really well. The biggest issue is that the pre-service music mp3's that play in the background on Proclaim are louder than video worship (went to that during covid), pre-message videos, messages, etc. Since we aren't using a sound board, there's no easy way to adjust the volume mid-service. It would be nice if there's a way to lower the volume of the music, and then boost it a bit for worship... etc. If you change the volume in Proclaim on a worship video, it changes the volume globally for all of the different sections of the service.
Thanks!
- I'm Scott by the way. We have to tear down every week because we're in an active theater!
- Actually, Scott, I had forgotten, but an MP4 container can hold up to 7.1. I played around with some ambient sounds after I typed what I sent yesterday and came up with a passable surround. The Atmos is really immersive, 7.1 still sounds great and the 5.1 I made yesterday was passable, though I'll have to spend a lot more time on it so it isn't repetitive, but I'm considering exporting the timeline once I have it so I can pull that into my countdowns. We spent 3 years in a rented community center before we got this building, now we do our services in the park next to the theatre in the Summer, so we will be back to set-up/tear-down mode as of Mother's Day.
- Sounds like problem solved, but if distance is not too great you can use volume control on a wireless keyboard or phone. It would be cool if volume could be adjusted in the proclaim app.
