I hope that this short letter finds you well and in good heart. I am reminded of a question that the Apostle Paul wrote to the Romans: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” His answer was: “That neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This last year we have been separated from our families, children, grandchildren, separated from meeting together. It has been a tough year for us. But we have never been separated from God and His love for us. In an ever-changing world, changing restrictions, we have one constant: God’s love for us. What a blessing it is, to know that in our soul, how He has kept us, loved us, cared for us, spoken to us, and met with us along our pathway in life.
We are thankful to have the church open again, to meet in fellowship, to be able to see each other face to face, albeit behind a mask. I remember the first Sunday back in church, it was so good to see people again. For those who are still not attending, I would encourage you to come back, your church family miss you. We find strength and encouragement when we are together.
This last year, we could not hold our AGM, because of restrictions placed upon us, we could not even hand out copies of our Financial Statement. But we will be holding our AGM on the 10th May at 7:30pm on a Zoom meeting. If you wish to attend, please get in touch with Chris Barrowman, so that he can get your email address and send you the link to watch. Thank you for your continuing support and generosity to the work of The Lord here in Ness and in other parts of the world.
