John Schwandt, I've been going through the Gk101 course, and at the end of Segment 11, during the practice of elision, you repeatedly pronounce ἑκάστην as ἑσκάτην. Is that a pronunciation mistake, or a transcription mistake? I'm just curious. I'm finding the videos to be excellent, and very informative.
- That's the issue. Unfortunately the web app doesn't support the self-test files that Mobile Ed exams uses yet.
- OK, thanks for clearing that up. I am still thoroughly enjoying the course, and there is plenty in it to keep me busy. Someday, if I get a better computer, I will reinstall the desktop app!
- Yep, I made that mistake. Great catch! I have always struggled with a touch of dyslexia and once my eyes read it one way, it is difficult to snap out of it. Typically, it doesn't crop up in Greek for me but in this case I read ἔσχατην (meaning 'last'). Sorry for the confusion. I'm glad I'm not a scribe. ;)
