Hi I had a question. Is there a way to retrieve past notes? I recently duplicated a note, thinking that I could edit the duplicated one, but both the original and the duplicated showed the same edits, erasing all of my study notes. I guess copying a note is not the same as duplicating it. What I need is the original Note. Thanks!
- David Bausch, I think you accidentally duplicated the Notes panel and not the note itself. If you right click on the Notes panel's tab and choose Duplicate, it's merely opening a second panel instance of whatever you currently have open. You can do that with most panels. We support duplicating a document, but we don't yet support duplicating a note through a one-click command. For now you'll need to use the manual method of copying and pasting into a new note. If you accidentally edit an existing note, you should be able to undo via Ctrl/Cmd + Z, as long as you haven't closed the panel you made the edits in yet. We don't have revision history for notes, but it's something we've discussed adding in the future. I'm sorry you lost some of your work! cc: Adam Borries (Faithlife), Eli Evans (Faithlife) Kyle Biersdorff (Faithlife)
