These words of Scripture from the Psalms call us into worship this week, reminding us of the goodness and love of the Lord. We’ll respond together to the call to rejoice and be glad as we sing Today Is The Day and Glorious Day, knowing that “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13-14)
After a brief welcome and prayer, we will continue our ON TARGET sermon series by focusing on the shared value of submission as Drew Barnes brings us a message exploring Mutual Submission in the Trinity. We’ll respond in worship to our triune God as we sing Holy, Holy, Holy. Concluding our time of worship this week we will pray for our Giving, and be sent out with some brief Announcements and a Benediction. Please tell us how we can be praying for you. Send your prayer requests to: prayer@meadowsfamily.org.
Find a couple of quiet moments to prayerfully reflect on the Scripture and songs above as you prepare for gathered worship this week. You can also find this week’s song playlist on Spotify and YouTube. And just a reminder that we have returned to one combined worship service on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. This service includes ministry for kids from nursery up to 5th grade and is mask-optional. Everything you need to know about our Sunday worship services can be found on our website at meadowsfamily.org/sundays.
Preparing for Worship - August 1st, 2021
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever!
This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it!
