Once again, Happy New Year to you and your family! While we never know what is in store for a new year we are confident in our good Father to provide grace every step of the year just like he did last year. The new year brings fresh energies to continue to grow in many areas, the chief area being our Christlikeness. Reading scripture, both privately and devotionally, is a necessary means of grace for growth. Reading Scripture provides a pipeline for grace to be supplied in every season of life and to that end, I promised to send your way some resources. Here we go!
Logos Bible Reading Plans – I don’t know if you know this or not, but if you are a member of the Jubilee Faithlife group you get a subscription to Logos Bible Software, which is one of my favorite tools for Bible study. I highly recommend you download it if you haven’t. Logos offers a variety of Bible reading plans. Check the link out!
2022 Bible Reading Plans – This article from Ligonier offers a slew of options all the way down to creating your own.
Read the Bible – This tool, created by TGC, adds a daily commentary to listen to after your reading.
K.I.N.G.D.O.M. Bible Reading Plan –This plan is from a professor and dear friend of mine, Dr. Jason DeRouchie. His plan is crafted to start at any time of the year for flexibility.
Bible Project Reading Journey – This is the one I am using this year. The aim of this plan is to read through the movements of Scripture while highlighting key patterns. Here also is that Paradigm series I mentioned.
