Immanuel's spring musical this year is Singing in the Rain, Jr. This is a very special production in which all students in K-8 are expected to participate because each student has a role in the production. In previous years we've performed Willy Wonka, Jr. (see left), Disney's The Lion King, Jr., and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
There will be two performances of Singing in the Rain, Jr.: Friday, April 29th, at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 1st, at 2:30 p.m. Those in the cast and crew MUST attend both performances. Those not in the cast and crew are considered part of the chorus. We would like for all chorus members to be present for both performances, as well. If that is not possible due to extenuating circumstances, there will be a opportunity for parents of those in the chorus to let us know which performance their child will participate in. There will be an important note going home next week with all of these details, as well as information regarding what the chorus should wear and arrival times.
Immanuel's spring musical is an event that our entire church and school community looks forward to. It offers learning across curricular areas, exposure to the arts, and and an opportunity for children to share their God-given talents with loved ones. The excitement is building as we get closer to the show, and we can't wait to see you there!
