Dear Church Congregation:
Sunday May 8th, 2022
I’d like to ask you all to pray for God to soften Brenda Weninger’s heart and mind too, so that we may reconcile our relationship to living back together under one roof as everybody and God intended for us.
I don’t really want to go into all the details, but shortly after we married there were issues that kept us apart, until We’d be able to live together for our golden years.
Even though we lived apart, we still acted as a committed married couple under God’s Moral Laws. I’d go pick her up for church at times, or she’d watch online.
Brenda was just there at our church with me about 4 months ago, and many of you were reunited with her.
We spoke daily and often, and we tracked back and forth to each other’s perspective homes staying in both places, until recently we did things together regularly that all married couples do together.
We had always planned to get back together under one roof again; and we were working on making that happen again until a few months ago.
Recently we had a falling out, but we always use to talk, texted or used FaceTime on a daily basis to stay together, as man and wife under God’s moral laws when we couldn’t be together face to face daily, like it was supposed to be.
I don’t know what else to do other than to currently ask you all to pray for Brenda and myself to reconcile, and take it on Faith that God is working on us with all our prayers. It is said when two or more come together, God is there with us listening, and He answers the prayers that we ask of Him.
I also would like to request prayers for all enemies out there to leave us be to work things out.
All we really needed was to focus on a strand of three in a marriage, God, Woman and Man that God brought together and bonded for life; but at times we fail to remember how important God plays a part in successful marriages on a daily basis.
I read somewhere if you divorced or separated for ungodly reasons, and neither is remarried, that the focus should always be on forgiveness and reconciliation of the marriage; that is what I’m asking God for on a daily basis, but now we’ve seemed to run into more roadblocks, and communicating has dwindled.
I feel that it is now more important to ask more people to be praying for us, as it might speed up the process; even though all things happen on God’s timing and not ours. We’re all getting older, and everyday away from your loved ones and each other is another missed opportunity to create more memories. They say tomorrow is never promised to anyone, so show your love to all people on a daily basis. Hug, Forgive, and Love all people in this world that are part of God’s creation.
Thank you all for anything you can do that help speed up the process. I love you all dearly just like my own family as it should be.
Respectfully,
James Dittel,
God Bless You All, and may His Mercy and Grace be upon us All.
- James we will be praying!!! Reconciliation is not an easy path but it is so near to God’s heart!!! We will be praying for lots of grace, love, forgiveness, and strength through the Spirit to be in the midst of your interactions. Bless you!!!!
- Thank you for sharing James. We will be praying for reconciliation. Prayer does change things and we believe with you for change in your marriage. James 5:16 says "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." We hold onto that promise... prayer can avail much!!
- A quick update: Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! God is good! The power of prayer is working on and within Brenda. There has been positive movement and communication. God is responding to all of our prayers. So, I ask you all to keep us in your daily prayers and to continue to pray for a full reconciliation between Brenda and myself. I ask of this in Jesus’ name; Amen!
