- When I read the passage it says to me that we are all God’s children. No matter whether we are sinners or not we come from him and we are sort of his family. We just have to come to him and claim his name because he dwells in us all. There is nothing long, deep or wide that can keep us from God’s love as long as we have faith and trust in him s as our father. God can do more for us then our minds can comprehend. Praise God for excepting us into gods family and that we care on his name.
- The connection between being strengthened with power by his Spirit in your inner being and being rooted and grounded in love struck me. The image of Christ dwelling within each of us at our core, the foundation of who we are, aligned with the image of strong, deep and far reaching roots that seek out water and food always growing in the direction of the source of that nourishment to not just survive but flourish. I thought about how the roots of a tree are often relative to the size and health of the tree. This abiding in Christ, always seeking and reaching for Him and drinking in His word so that we may grow in relationship with Him, those roots, our faith will be fortified and grow deep and strong within us individually and corporately and through that connection we find ourselves in a state of peace and joy that we could not otherwise comprehend.
- I just wanted to reflect on what I read in Romans 5 your. How through Adams disobedience we all will face death and have to face God because of our sins. But through Jesus obedience we will all face God being justified through righteousness. This was like an eye opening for me that through one man's sins we gave God and through another man's righteousness we gave God. Just something I observed, that I didn't before and just wanted to share that.

"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
