- I love these verses cause I try so hard to not keep anything about my life in the darkness because when I do it seems as if I’m trying to hide things from God and that makes my relationship with God not as wholly as I want it to be. These verses reminds me that I don’t have to live in darkness because the light is with God and that’s where I desire to be. Thanks for this reminder. ❤️🙏🤗😘💜
- When I was new to reading the Bible, I was so hungry to learn every truth about God that was made clear to me at that time. The Holy Spirit knew how empty my heart was. I recall being in my former church one Sunday and the pastor said that he would be teaching the most important verse in the Bible. All week I wondered what that verse would be, as an immature Christian, I thought it would be great (and efficient) to know the whole truth by learning one verse. When Sunday came and the pastor read John 3:16, once again in my immaturity I thought "O that verse, I know that verse" but obviously I didn't know the whole gospel is in that verse. I have come to learn to meditate on every word of the Bible as my whole life as a Christian depends on receiving the Word. When I saw this verse, I wanted to share my experience as I pray that I will never read or hear this verse again and not be completely in love with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Some questions to reflect on-
Take some time to meditate and pray on God’s word and how He uses it to grow our faith and knowledge of Him.
*Post your answers to the questions or what the Holy Spirit is teaching you this week!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
