I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. (Philippians 3:9).
We default to thinking our resume, our effort, or our religious actions will get us into Heaven. What we don't realize is all our "good deeds" are but filthy sin-stained rags.
Our salvation is found in a person! His name is Jesus.No one is good enough to earn Him. We are saved when we turn to Him for rescue. His arms are open. We can stop trying to prove that we deserve salvation and run into the arms of grace.
