- How about return to God's word and not be an entertainment center.
- To invest as a leader, a member must believe he can serve God and make a difference in "church-life," AND must be convinced he can make a difference civically (government at all levels) by representing a church that is active in promoting righteousness in all levels of government.

Use imperfect flawed man as all the judges in Judges were. J Vernon McGee is in judges right now and talked about how a lot of churches won’t use divorced man in leader ship roles as one examples of this. Of course in this day and time you have to vet everyone. Also how about retaining the leadership you have? Pastor Jones has a rare gift for tying The Word of God into today’s world. Very brave in this of world cancel culture. I feel blessed to have found him on Facebook and will truly miss his insightfulness.
Help Wanted: Christian Leaders
On Wednesday Night, Jun 22nd, at 6:30pm, we will study “Church Leadership.” For the last several decades, the leaders of the Southern Baptist Convention have reported that around 70% of SBC churches are NOT growing. They are “plateaued” or declining and each year around 1000 Southern Baptist churches close their doors. The solutions to these problems proposed by SBC leaders are: plant new churches and revitalize older churches. One of the constant needs that you hear from church planters and church revitalizers is "We need LEADERS... both ministers and lay leaders... churches need a 'pipeline' (or an intentional process) for developing leaders." Therefore, our Wednesday Night Question of the Week will be:
How does the church get more Leaders?
