I'm trying to do at one time, the search for union in Christ in the Pauline corpus.
I've seen the MPS suggestion at
https://blog.logos.com/discover-for-yourself-what-it-means-to-be-in-christ/
but I don't think it's complete.
I'm doing a Bible search, All Bible Text in Paul's Letters in the ESV, and my syntax is (<Lemma = lbs/el/ἐν> ANDEQUALS in, with) BEFORE 1 word <Person Jesus> in Paul's Letters) but it's not totally accurate. For example, it omits Eph 1:7.
How can I get an accurate result?
I'm grateful for your help.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Michael Leach

- If you'd like to see each reference to "in Christ" or "in Him" or "in Whom" that refers to Jesus open up the search window and paste this: in BEFORE 2 WORDS <Person Jesus> This works in NASB with Pauline Epistles selected. OR: IN CHRIST SEARCH. Copy and paste the following into the Bible search: (<Lemma = lbs/el/ἐν> ANDEQUALS in) BEFORE 1 WORD <Person Jesus> This last one has been uploaded in the public Docs option and can be downloaded as a passage list. Or morph search lemma:ἐν BEFORE 6 CHARS lemma:Χριστός (not 4 because some have en to Christo, article adds characters) or this (lemma:ἐν ANDEQUALS in) BEFORE 6 CHARS lemma:Χριστός, lemma:Ἰησοῦς
- Dr. Ingino: Thanks so much for your suggestion and your references. I'll try them tomorrow.
