Good morning church family! There are exciting things in store for us at Hope! Yesterday during service, I announced our intention to pursue a partnership with the Evangelical Free Churches of America. I made available a personal letter from myself as well as an information packet about what it means to be an EFCA church and a detailed look at the process for joining the EFCA. Very soon we will be announcing a date when a representative from the Great Lakes District of the EFCA will be with us and available to answer any questions you may have. I am attaching the letter and information packet to this post so anyone who missed out can access them here. The printed versions will also be available at church again this weekend. Please join me in praying for this important step in the continued replanting of our church. Remember: This is your decision as membership of the church. Make yourself informed and show up to vote when we announce a membership meeting for that purpose. Let me also say, thank you so much for the kind remembering of our 2 year anniversary serving here at Hope. I am incredibly thankful for each of you and your involvement in the ministry over the last two years. I also believe that our best days are not behind us but ahead of us! Let's join together in prayer and seek the Lord's direction for us. Blessed to serve with you always.
