Keyboard shortcut to play video?
I've tried searching but can't seem to find a way to play a video content item without clicking on the play button with the mouse. I do not want it to play automatically but I don't really use my mouse for anything else during a service so, reaching for that every time isn't ideal either.
Anyone have a solution to play the video content item without clicking?
Thanks!

Stephen Donnelly that is a great point and I am a little surprised we dont have one for that. I'll create a case! The most obvious shortcut would be 'spacebar' however that is already used for advancing slides. Do you have a good one in mind? Maybe just command/control P for play/pause (oh we use that for print today )bret.schmerker — Edited
Stephen Donnelly I've anticipated this problem. One o' my goals for the new projection 'puter at OMS Japanese Christian is control of MPEG files or equivalent, which I presume ye want. The USB Human Interface Device Protocol is a new-to-me, however: I'm used to the legacy intel® i8042 protocol, which supports multimedia keys distinct from the alphanumeric; but the newest hardware forces USB or EIA-574. Ideally, I'd order a 126-key i8042 JIS terminal keyboard: But Unicomp, due to tooling limitations inherited from International Business Machines via Lexmark, cannot execute a JIS with nine program-command and one Control keys on the left, and twenty-four Program-Function, Escape, and tape-machine keys on the top — a superset of the IBM 3270/5250 layout except for a narrow right Shift and a one-space Backspace/alt-Delete Left with 逆変換 Previous Kanzi, 変換 Next Kanzi, and 仮名 Kana/alt-羅馬字 Rōmazi keys sharing the spacebar row with Reset, Alt, Alt Graphic, and Enter keys and the spacebar itself.- Jordan Sjodin I’d keep the spacebar. Spacebar once to advance the slide to video content, then spacebar again to start the video. If someone (like me) chooses not to “play automatically,” then they probably want the next command to play the video. I’ve created animated lower thirds that I want to be able to start on cue. If I hit spacebar to “preload” the slide then it makes sense to hit spacebar again to play the video as the next logical action. Alternatively, I would be happy hitting ‘return/enter’ to start the video.
