The living God invites us to worship Him! Jesus himself tells us that the Father is seeking worshipers (see John 4:23.) So as we hear God’s Word in Psalm 34 let us hear it as an invitation to be a worshiper today: “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!” We’ll begin with this Call to Worship found in Psalm 34:1-3 and respond with All Creatures Of Our God And King and Psalm 150 (Praise The Lord). As we read Psalm 150 itself it further points us toward the One we worship and invites a response of praise as we declare to the Lord that we are Here For You.
After a prayer for ourGiving and a few Announcements, we’ll have a fun and engaging Kids’ Time along with some activity bagsfor all of our young worshipers. Then, Stewart Pattison will be continuing our Kingdom Come sermon series as we look at Matthew 12:9-14 as Jesus Heals a Man with a Withered Hand. After the message, we will respond together to sing There’s Nothing That Our God Can’t Do and be dismissed with a Benediction.
Do you need prayer? Please let us know how we can be praying for you. You can drop a prayer request card in the giving box in the atrium, or send your prayer requests to: prayer@meadowsfamily.org.
Please find a few moments to prepare your heart and mind for gathered worship. Prayerfully engage with the Scripture and songs for this week, dwell on all that you have to be thankful for, and pray that God will build up his church and glorify himself through our worship together. This week’s song playlist can be found on Spotify and YouTube. Everything you need to know about our Sunday worship services can be found on our website at meadowsfamily.org/sundays.
