- Think I figured out "a way". Created a virtual screen called countdown and assigned that to the appropriate screen output. But if there is a better/different way, I'm open to hear it for sure.
- The usual way, click on the speaker icon next to the item in the running order and select import
- I believe you have to purchase it in Logos, then it would be available in Proclaim, Glenn Bozak. A caveat, though, is that you would have to use your login on the presentation computer for it to be available for presentations.
- Steven is right in that the person using a 'purchased translation' would have to be the one adding that version to a Proclaim Presentation. However once the presentation has been synced that Presentation (with the excerpt from the purchase) will be available to the whole team.
- I think that there's an inconsistency in how Proclaim displays user uploaded fonts and the internally supplied fonts on Confidence slides. The Confidence slides do not always display the font enhancements when a user uploaded font is used. We use Source Sans Pro as our main text font, and Lora for our headings and titles. (We use the same in print resources and want to keep the look of everything consistent.) Both Source Sans Pro and Lora are uploaded fonts that have been our basis for our slides for a long time. We recently installed a large confidence monitor above the camera we use to record and stream our worship, and I've been working on getting the confidence slides set up so we need not be using our print resources as much. Below I've got an example of a Song item that has a call and response type lyric in it. The leader chants the regular type text, and the congregation responds with the bolded text. On the slide that we project, the difference is clear. The font used is Source Sans Pro. On the Confidence slide, the bold is stripped out when using Source Sans Pro, but is present when using CMG Sans. While converting the Confidence font to CMG Sans is an easy enough work around, we'd really like to be able to keep all of our fonts consistent across all our displays. Of course, it is possible that I'm simply messing up and there's another work around rather than changing the font, so please let me know if there's something else I should be doing to get the Confidence slide to show bolded text using Source Sans Pro. Thanks.
- Colin Cameron Tried ye the BibLit font from the Society of Biblical Literature? It mimics the writing styles o' the Greco-Roman era. Cyberbit CJK, unfortunately, is no longer available from Bitstream Corporation (I still have it installed on my ASUS® CM1630 minitower, as it reproduces the 漢字 ᴋᴀɴᴢɪ used in the State of Japan); Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Univerſıtät Frankfurt am Main (HГ, DEU) only has TITUS (viz., Theſaurus Indogermaniſcher Text- und Гprachmaterialien) Cyberbit Basic.
- bret.schmerkerI hadn't tried it, and after looking at it, I don't think it will meet our needs. We're happy with the font choices we've made, we would like the Confidence slides to pick up the emphasis that we've added though.
- Hey folks, I'm trying to find a setting and need your help. In projecting our songs, what setting do I need to enable our praise team to "preview" the first line of the next slide of the songs? I hope this makes sense! Thanks in advance, Dan
- That feature is available on the confidence monitor output, but I don't see any option for that for the regular slide output. Are you using the confidence monitor for your praise team?
- If you have not done so, go to Settings>Default Confidence and choose Song from the dropdown (1st Screenshot). From the Smart Media Template click the dropdown for Confidence Items and choose Next Lyric Preview and click Save. (2nd screenshot) It will now have the first line of the next slide on the Confidence Monitor (3rd screenshot).
- Great! Thanks Steven Stoops!
- We use a transparent background colour as a chroma key for titles etc. However when using a horizontal wipe transition, the specified transparency colour also gets wiped which upsets the keying. Why does this happen for a wipe transition but not for others? Can it be prevented? See attached file for a single frame from the transition. Pure green is the colour our video switcher is expecting as the chroma key. Is this the expected behaviour or a bug? Very surprised that a wipe transition impacts the transparent colour like this.
- I love the virtual screens feature, and I'm using one for our overlay elements such as lower-thirds. For most content, however, I want that channel to be blank so that it doesn't cover the whole screen if I leave the key turned on. In Default Media, I can specify the default output for most content types to be blank for that screen, but not videos or the on-screen Bible. I can do it manually for each item, but not by default. Can you add that option?
