• Please pray.

Hey church family, I wanted to ask for prayer for my dad, Joe Pope. He is scheduled to have back surgery tomorrow. We hope he only has to stay overnight, but we aren’t sure what to expect post-surgery. Please pray specifically that he will be calm beforehand and follow the instructions given for healing afterwards. He tends to overdo things! Thank you all! (If you want to text him to let him know that you’re praying, his number is 912.303.6991)
    1. I know he’s out of surgery.
    2. I was just on the phone with Tina when a nurse called her back to see him in recovery. I’ll hopefully talk to him soon. Thank you all so much for your prayers and checking on him!
    3. He is home! Hurting of course, but has a positive outlook. Doc says no bending/twisting or picking up over 10lbs for the next 4 weeks. Healing completely will take 8months. Thanks everyone, we love y’all.

    Please pray.

Hey Church, can you all please be praying for Asher? He’s staying overnight at the hospital due to a high fever and concerning lab results. They want to observe him for a little while. He’s in good spirits and otherwise fine, but as of now we don’t know why or what his body is fighting. Thank you so much ❤️
    1. Any update on little Asher?
    2. Asher update: All praise be to God, it seems as though the fever is gone. Please pray it stays that way. He is eating and drinking well. So far no tests have given us a diagnosis. They believe at this time that it’s a viral infection, and our best guess is the throat/neck area. He’s not complaining of any pain. He’s a little grumpy and out of sorts but it may be due to being here 🥴 We are ready to go home but they want to be thorough because his white blood cell count was very elevated, and it seemed that he had a major infection somewhere. I will try to update again when they turn us loose! Thank you for your many prayers and please continue.
    3. Family- we are home! Please pray that Asher continues to improve, and we receive a good report at his follow up appointment on Monday. Thank you for your concern and love!
