Bible Study & more

Beginning in February though May, we would like to offer a biweekly bible study opportunity of the book of James from The Daily Grace Company. (We will order as a church to save shipping costs. It will be right around $10). Here is the link for you to read more about it.

This is a 7 week study that equips believers to:

• Unpack the practical theology throughout James verse by verse
• Apply the gospel to trials, temptations, and other areas of everyday life
• Be “doers” of the Word and live a life of true faith by the Holy Spirit

Each week contains 5 days of study material to complete on your own, including daily study questions, a weekly memory verse, and weekly reflection questions. We will meet as a group twice a month on Thursday evenings to encourage one another, discuss the previous two weeks study and to pray.

Please reply to this email by Saturday, January 14 and let Christina know if you plan to participate and would like her to order the book for you.

Our new cycle of discipleship groups will start in September 2023 through May 2024. This schedule we will use going forward will allow ladies to take the busy summer months off if desired. In the meantime, we strongly encourage women to continue meeting with your current group or reach out to other ladies in the church and form a group organically. If you need assistance in finding someone to meet with, please reach out to Brenda Reid at 912-856-7914.

Discipleship groups are most effective when kept to 3-4 ladies who meet weekly or biweekly at a time that works for everyone in the group. If you desire to do a book study, please get approval from an elder.
