How Did Noah Point to Christ?

Many of you by now have heard the news reports of Louisiana pastor Tony Snell who was arrested after beating up a young thug that had been harassing him and his family. While many praise Pastor Snell’s actions, as believers in Christ, let’s get too excited about him. For one, Snell and his church are oneness Pentecostals. That is they deny the Trinity. They say it is all Jesus and that God is not three persons as the New Testament clearly teach. Some oneness church go as far as saying that those who believe in the Trinity are worshippers of three gods. Second, Snell and his church are legalists. Their women don’t cut their hair, don’t wear pants, and the church has other legalistic rules. Third, they teach that you are saved by water baptism in Jesus name only. However, that is not enough. They teach water baptism opens the door to receive the Holy Spirit, but you do not have the Spirit unless you speak in tongues. So in essence, Pastor Snell’s church and the so called apostolic Pentecostal movement are clearly heretics. We should not be in fellowship with them.

                      Prime Day Deals for Christians
Amazon's annual Prime Day deals are here, and for those of us who use Amazon anyway, it's a time to get some deals. You'll find items on sale across all categories. Of course, my interest is in books and, thankfully, there are lots of great deals to be had (in printed, not Kindle editions).
