I don't understand why Verbum has yet to provide an English Translation of the Missale Romanum (1962), over ten years after SUMMORUM PONTIFICUM. Baronius Press and Angelus Press have English Translations; Baronius also has the Divine Office with English Translation. It is our Patrimony in faith and Verbum should be embarrassed not to provide both to it's clients who are willing to pay for it. I have emailed Verbum about this neglect and have even requested to be routed to the appropriate authority and have never received so much as a SPAM mail in response.
Top8305 — EditedAlmost two years later and still no English translation. Unable to incorporate into the Verbum Lectionary, and now to add injury to injury upon injury, cannot use the 1962 Liturgy in the new Verbum 9 Homily Builder or Homily Manager, even as the Vetus Ordo is significantly expanding throughout the English-speaking Catholic world, among the Episcopacy, Priests, Religious Orders, their Tertiaries, and Laity. Verbum 9 has so enhanced its Homily Builder that it is of great value, not just for homilies but also for teachers, study groups, and catechesis. But is has little utility at all to those who worship, study, and catechize in the Extraordinary Form (one of two Forms in the SAME Roman Rite, according to Pope Benedict XVI), relative to the Tridentine Liturgy. No blog or articles from Verbum or its Lectionary or development Sections about inclusion of the 1962 Liturgy into its Lectionary, nothing. Please, without delay, devote the necessary Verbum resources to avail your Customers to the Usus Antiquior in Verbum’s Lectionary. Dignum et iustum est. Pax Christi
