Macchia brings a fresh, but biblical, approach to the doctrine of the Trinity. His focus is on salvation and begins with the biblically-evidenced fact that only God can save. He then demonstrates that each Person of the Trinity is intimately and necessarily (biblically-speaking) involved in salvation; therefore, the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Spirit is God. The layman will have no difficulties with the accessibility of this book, but the content is obviously informed by a theologian who knows what he is doing. His succinct method and clear points make this a great tool to use to share the Trinity with others and defend it.
