After further review, and watching and subscribing on and off again for several months, it appears this is where training comes to die. When no one wants to buy it anymore, or after they have included the training with your already purchased base packages they place them here before retiring them. The other training are the more basic and simplified training and sit here taking up training slots for long periods of time serving as fillers to make the value seem better. On a good note, since Genesis theology supports the science over long periods of time rather then creationism, I am glad to see that it is here as that may mean it too is retiring. On a plus side, you can purchase those retiring training at 50% since no one else wants them at full price or they already came in our base packages anyways.
- I hope you don't take this personally, but I think I understand you to say that you don't believe in creationism. I apologize if that is not what you are saying, but if you don't believe in creationism, I feel led to tell you the following. So are you saying the course on Genesis does not support creationism, and that is why you are glad it is retiring? Since I believe the wisdom of man is foolishness to God and from my research I do believe what the bible says, and therefore do not believe the theory of science indicating that long periods of time occurs over the 6 actual days that the bible says, then I don't want waste my time listening to that particular theory. Truthfully, I believe why some people want to accept the science theory, is so they can pick and choose what to believe in the bible. The bible has been around for centuries, and God has been so graceful to give us His Word to live by. He did not want us to have to depend upon man for His Word, so He gave it as a gift. You can chose to believe it or not. Couple of verses to consider. 2 Timothy 3:16, and Proverbs 14:12. Pray to God to have your eyes opened if you don't believe certain things in the bible and God will open your eyes. http://www.icr.org/article/meaning-day-genesis/The Meaning of "Day" in Genesis | The Institute for Creation ResearchThe length of the "days" of creation in Genesis has involved a major controversy in Biblical interpretation among evangelicals for over 150 years. Many have sought to redefine the term in light of the naturalistic presuppositions of modern scientism. Therefore, let us attempt, honestly, to examine t…www.icr.org
- sorry for poor grammar. should have said gracious instead of graceful.
- I believe that you might have read my statement out of context. I stated, "this is where training comes to die," and " they place them here before retiring them." Even more boldly I made this claim, "since Genesis Theology supports the science over long periods of time rather than creationism, I am glad to see that it is here as that may mean it too is retiring." If you read it in its context you will find that I believe in Creationism, I am glad that the training was moved to the subscription service as it could mean that they were retiring/terminating/doing away with a training that goes against creationism. It has been removed from the subscription service but the training is still for sale. Sadly there is no creationist version available for Genesis, yet. https://www.logos.com/product/52284/mobile-ed-genesis-bundleMobile Ed: Genesis Bundle (2 courses)Learn what the first book of the Bible says in its own words and original context, and discover how it shapes discipleship today.
