Safe Haven Community Church News
Message from Pastor Chris:
Dear Safe Haven Family in the Lord,
This Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. A highlight in the Christian year and an occasion to join together in worship, praise and prayer - in person and on-line.
The Lord has led me to prepare a message about his Glory: "Glorify Thy Name - Along the Road to Glory", taking us through the scriptures to view the "Kodak moments" of God's Glory shining through. May the Lord richly bless all of you, as you celebrate together in your homes and families. And for those who miss loved ones, may the Presence of our Risen Lord comfort and encourage you as you remember them.
Henny and I wish you all a glorious Easter!
Pastor Chris
A Song Worth Listening To:
On YouTube there is a marvellous hymn available if you would like listen to it. It is by Phil Wickman and titled "Sunday Is Coming".
Well worth the listen!

Wednesday Night Prayer & Praise Meeting:
This last Wednesday Night Prayer & Praise Meeting was very encouraging as our numbers continue to grow, and we had some guests come in off the street to pray with us! Remember to pray for this ministry and join us if you can. Our average attendance is around 17, but we can accommodate more! ALL ARE WELCOME!
Join us on Wednesday Nights at 7pm at 82 Church St., for a time of prayer and some worship. We are so excited to see God moving on Wednesday nights so far! It is very encouraging and we would love to see you there.
Basement Flood at 82 Church St.
On Sunday March 26th, we discovered a flooded basement when we came into the church. It appears that the problem may have been a disconnected sump pump or float. We are also investigating if there is anything else that could have contributed to this flood.
St. Francis Centre July and August:
During the months of July and August, the St. Francis Centre will be closed for window renovations. If you have noticed, the church that occupied the St. Francis de Sales school behind us is no longer being used by them. Safe Haven has secured this space for the 9 Sundays during these months.

Youth & Sunday School:
FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH
Hey everyone! Thanks to all who came out on Friday for some great fun and some bowling! Just a reminder that we don't have youth this Friday, but we will return at 7pm next Friday April 14th.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Hey everyone! We are really happy that the numbers for Sunday School have been consistent and even growing! Please continue to pray for the kids and the teachers, so the ministry can be as successful as possible. There will be NO Sunday School on Easter Sunday, in order to allow the teachers to enjoy the service.
