CALL TO CONFESSION

PRAYER OF CONFESSION

Merciful God,

we confess that we desire what is not your will.

We fear failure

   and cling to unquestioned habits.

We are truly sorry and repent

   of what we have done

and what we have not done.

Show us the path of your prophetic way.

Open our eyes to new ventures.

Help us love our neighbors as ourselves.

Forgive us and renew us,

in the name of life abundant,

Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ASSURANCE OF GOD’S GRACE

*THE PEACE

The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

And also with you.

GODLY PLAY: Work Day

A work day is a Sunday when the students don't hear a story. During our typical Sunday morning time there is often not enough time for some of our art responses or to explore all they want to in the classroom so we have work days where the children are able to more fully engage in the "Play" part of Godly Play.

The Godly Play room will open at 10:15am for songs and memory verse time, with the lesson starting at 10:35am. Students will be brought upstairs for the final hymn.

LECTIONARY TEXTS

For anyone wishing to study the lectionary texts, this week,

June 26th, the Lectionary texts are:
