• PRAY for the Consistory meeting tomorrow night. May God bless them with wisdom and love for the flock as they lead us in the Lord’s way.

• PRAY for Pat Check who had emergency surgery this week and will be in the hospital through the weekend. May God bless him and Cindy with His presence through this trial.

• Keep in prayer Rev. Lee Johnson of the RCUS church in Lincoln, NE. His recovery from the stroke he had in October is slowly moving forward and he anticipates returning home from the hospital for the first time this coming week.

• Christmas Caroling: This afternoon we will spread the Christian joy of this season to our shutins. If you have any questions or can help with logistics, please see Patty Check.

• Christmas Eve Program: we invite any church members (or guests who will be present) to participate with a reading, song, instrumental piece, ensemble, etc. Please see the pastor with your ideas so he can arrange the program accordingly.

• Next week we plan to celebrate the Lord’s Supper during worship. Let us come prepared to commune with Christ and one another. 

“Times of Refreshing”

Acts 3:17-26

Theme:

Christ promises once more to refresh the sons of the covenant.

1.    Christ gives the Jews a second chance to repent (vv. 17-20)

2.    Christ is the One Who brings the prophesied times of restoration (vv. 21-23)

3.    Christ brings the blessing of repentance (vv. 24-26)
