Announcements
- We welcome to our pulpit today our summer intern, Mr. Matthew Dawn. May God bless his ministry of the gospel to our hearts today. This will be Mr. Dawn’s final sermon of the summer. We thank him for his service throughout the past couple of months, and wish him all of God’s blessings in his future endeavors.
- One of Mr. Dawn’s final duties will be to lead Family Bible Class tonight at 7 p.m. Please join us for a time of study and fellowship.
- A special congregational meeting will be held after service next Sunday, Aug. 14, to vote on whether to extend a call to Rev. James Grossman to become our next pastor.
- We will be having a fund drive for the Salvation Army throughout the month of August. Please bring donations to the kitchen the next four Sundays. Boxed and packaged foods are especially needed. For more information see Carolyn.
- It is impossible to thank every pastor, counselor and camper of the past 32 years, along with every helper, business or volunteer. Special thanks to Kayla for stepping up. God willing, camp will continue to grow and I hope to play a small part in that in the future. We have scheduled the next camp for June 20-23, 2023, and are raising the fee for campers to $100. May God continue to watch over and bless each one. In Christian love, Carolyn
