      1. As we come up on yet another time together on Sunday of fellowship and worship, be in prayer for one another. Continue to read the Word of God. Continue to love and serve those around you. Picking up where we left off last week, we will continue in our study of the Beatitudes. Start preparing your hearts to receive encouragement and correction as we intentionally continue to learn, lead, and love one another. Our hope and our joy rest in Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can bring healing to our community. To God be the glory forever and ever! Scripture reading- Matthew 5:1-16

This past Sunday Pastor Carl mentioned “the chorus” of a song at the beginning of his message. The chorus is usually that part of a song that is repeated after every verse, or over and over again that is delivering the may point or message across in the song. Our chorus is Koinonia. As we move forward into a season of study relating to Koinonia, or fellowship and community, let’s make it a point to spend time with God in His Word everyday. Even if it’s just 5 minutes, take the time to stop everything and just abide in Him, first giving Him thanks, and then just to hear from the Holy Spirit! Daily scriptures for this week: Monday 1 Corinthians 1:4-9 Tuesday Matthew 11:27-30 Wednesday 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Thursday Luke 14:15-24 Friday Luke 19:1-10 Saturday Ephesians 3:1-12
