Everyone has a purpose and gifts from God. There are several ways you can live your faith through your presence, prayers, gifts, service, and witness at St. Matthias. If you feel called to serve in one of the many ministries here, please remember to complete the “You Can Make a Difference” time and talent survey. They are located by the Sanctuary on the table next to the prayer requests and available at the link below.

The Leadership Team will share highlights from its meetings with the congregation for informational purposes. Our goal is to keep the congregation informed of decisions made or actions taken within the body of Christ. If you have any questions or need clarification on anything, please do not hesitate to contact Pastor Bert or Peg Jones, Leadership Team Chair.

· Our VUMF accounts are open and contain the deposits as previously approved at the April meeting. Finance will receive statements. Subcommittee will meet quarterly, or more often if necessary, to review how the accounts are performing.

· Volunteer Skills Survey forms received thus far were compiled and results reviewed. Good that people are interested in serving in areas within the church where there is the most need. Emails will go out to team leaders to refer the individuals and “cc” the person who completed the form. Team leaders will reach out to individuals. Results will also be entered into Servant Keeper software.

· Pastor Bert authorized Peg and Erica to conduct Worship Leader training in his absence while he is recovering; he will speak with the new Worship Leaders upon his return.

· At 33.3% into the year, income has been collected at 28.7% ($73,152.63) of our 2022 budget with expenses totaling 27.2% ($69,515.12) of our 2022 budget, resulting in a $3,637.51 surplus. SDAs total $62,313.48.
