Justification by faith is the hinge on which all true religion turns.
John Calvin
God does not justify us because we are worthy, but justifying makes us worthy. Thomas Watson
Justification is God’s act of remitting the sins of guilty men, and accounting them righteous, freely, by his grace, through faith in Christ, on the ground, not of their own works, but of the representative law keeping and redemptive blood-shedding of the Lord Jesus Christ on their behalf. J.I. Packer
Heidelberg Catechism
Lord’s Day 22
57. What comfort do you receive from the “resurrection of the body”?
That not only my soul after this life shall be immediately taken up to Christ its Head, but also that this my body, raised by the power of Christ, shall be reunited with my soul, and made like the glorious body of Christ.
58. What comfort do you receive from the article “life everlasting”?
That, inasmuch as I now feel in my heart the beginning of eternal joy, I shall after this life possess complete blessedness, such as eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, therein to praise God forever.
Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only-begotten Son, our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy, universal Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Counterfeit Religion!
Philippians 3:2-7
1. Beware of false teachers who will destroy your joy in in the Lord!
2. Beware of self righteousness which will destroy your joy in in the Lord!
