All men are invited to the Men’s Breakfast at Bojangles (Exit 5) at 7:00 a.m. THIS Wednesday, March 6. We gather the first Wednesday of each month for good food and fellowship. Please join us!!

The Elders will meet on Tuesday, March 19 at 6:00 p.m.

The monthly Seniors’ Trip will be on Tuesday, March 19.

We will be giving out food boxes to anyone in need at the church on Tuesday, March 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

The function of the Ladies’ teams is to serve during church socials by setting up, serving, and clean up. Any lady who is not currently serving on a team but would like to participate please see Sue Duncan or Linda Kegley.

On Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 9:00 to 1:00 pm Suburban and First Christian will be joining together to participate in the GAP Food Packing Program sponsored through IDES. Our aim is to fill 35,000 meal bags during the time allotted. IDES say the 25,000 meals can be done in approx. 2 hrs.

NEXT Sunday, March 10 we will have a “Love Offering” to support the “GAP Food Packaging” for IDES. Our goal is $4,375. We have raised $1,385.00 and we need $2,990.00 by April 13. Please help to support this project.

As we continue this year, let us pray Paul’s prayer from Galatians 1:3-5. Give thanks to God for Grace and Peace through our Lord Jesus Christ! He gave Himself for our sins, to rescue us from our evil age. Pray that Christ will make His name in our hearts as we serve Him, and that we will give glory to God for ever and ever. AMEN

We are collecting shoes for East Tennessee Christian Home and Academy during March. Please bring shoes individually placed in plastic grocery bags and tie the bags. There is a plastic container in foyer.
