Being Led By The Spirit
      • Jeremiah 10ESV

      • Jeremiah 10:23ESV

  • Confession: I am born of God. I am born of the Word. The Word of God is my nature. I do not struggle to do the Word. I do the Word naturally. Therefore today, I will understand the Word of His grace. I will be built up. By the end of this service, I will never be the same, in Jesus name.
    Acts 16:6–7 ESV
6 And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. 7 And when they had come up to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them.
    Preach where you are assigned
If you are really concerned – pray
    Acts 16:9 ESV
9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”
be open to fresh experiences and fresh insight
    Don't be rigid
    Acts 20:22 ESV
22 And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there,
Stay away from strife and bitterness
God does not function in an environment of bitterness and strife.
Bitterness and strife will block your ears/hearing
Will make you insensitive to what God is saying
    Also unforgiveness
Easier to keep someone with moral failure (stealing, lying) than someone with strife.
Your pollute the atmosphere and make other staff hardened to hearing God
If you can't hear God you can't hear me.
People are not always going to treat you fairly, but you must know how to protect yourself from the arrows
You won't know what to do
It's your mind that walks in the Spirit
Bitterness, anger and strife are in the mind
When it's cluttered with those things, when the spirit is speaking your mind will not hear
Epistles emphasis is on the love walk more than any other conduct issue - walk in love, forgive one another, even as God, for Christ sake has forgiven you, love the brother in, he laid down his life for us we ought to lay down our life
There's something about bitterness and strife
    Guard your heart
1 Peter 3:7 “7 Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.”
Prayers are hindered with resentment, because when resentment is there, you won't be able to pray
We all need each other's prayers
    Acts 22:18 ESV
18 and saw him saying to me, ‘Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’
    instruction - get out
    Acts 22:21 ESV
21 And he said to me, ‘Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ ”
    Ministry and experiences
    Acts 23:11 ESV
11 The following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome.”
    specific locations
You will never have the complete picture of God's direction. You will have step-by-step instructions.
You will gradually walk in it
    Acts 27:23–25 ESV
23 For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship, 24 and he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ 25 So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told.
he encouraged them in the midst of their trouble
He said, I believe. He could have doubted.
You have to believe that God is leading you, and will continue to lead you.
    There is faith for direction.
Even when things are not going smoothly, you have to believe that God is leading you
Elijah when he went to the brook, after a while it dried up, he still believed
when he went to the widow, he still believed
Have faith in the witness of the Spirit of God
You can never have the full picture of God's plan for you. It unfolds as you follow and walk with God.
Achievement is not a proof of obedience at all.
    You can achieve in disobedience.
[Neither are results - witch doctor example]
    Daniel 2:17 ESV
17 Then Daniel went to his house and made the matter known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions,
    Daniel 2:27 ESV
27 Daniel answered the king and said, “No wise men, enchanters, magicians, or astrologers can show to the king the mystery that the king has asked,
    Daniel 2:28 ESV
28 but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream and the visions of your head as you lay in bed are these:
    1 Corinthians 2:9–10 ESV
9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— 10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
reveal, disclose, bring to light, make fully known
What needs light is the mind of man
It is the work of the spirit to uncover to our minds.
    The spirit tutors the mind.
There will be an unveiling of the Spirit of God to the mind of man.
    Manifestation - once, instant
    Revelation - progressive light, gradual
    1 Corinthians 2:11 ESV
11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
    1 Corinthians 2:12–13 ESV
12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.
    Romans 8:14 NCV
14 The true children of God are those who let God’s Spirit lead them.
Ago - (the Holy Spirit) takes responsibility
Led - ἄγω - bring, carry, go away
    Romans 8:2 ESV
2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
The freedom in Christ is in the spirit of life
    Romans 8:5–6 ESV
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
Spiritually is in the mind - you are either spiritual in the mind or carnal in the mind
    Carnality is in the mind
*The mind is tutored or mentored or fathered by the spirit via the written Word
    Romans 8:7–9 ESV
7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.
Since the Spirit of God dwells in you, you are in the spirit
    Romans 8:10 ESV
10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
The spirit of Christ is Christ in you
The body is dead (you don't have to die)
The spirit is the life of God.
    Romans 8:13–16 ESV
13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
    Romans 8:1 ESV
1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
    Romans 8:1 NCV
1 So now, those who are in Christ Jesus are not judged guilty.
    Romans 8:1 TPT
1 So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.
God has a plan for my life. God has a purpose for my life. I am not a accident. I am not a mistake. I am in gods eternal plan.
In the name of Jesus, no trial and error For my life I have precision accuracy. I walk with God's plan accurately. for me, there will be no stumbling. I will follow the plan of God accurately. I will be precise my obedience to the plan of God. I will be precise, I will be accurate in my obedience to the plan of God for my life. There are no mistakes in my life. My life is not an experiment. It is God's project.
The days ahead are going to be days of adventures in the spirit. Days of walking precisely by the spirit in the spirit. Days through which God's purposes will find expression through us to our world. Clarity is upon you.
Every confusion is in your mind is dissolved right now. I do not give up. I stay in it until I win.
I have won, I am winning, I keep winning.
