All Saints Sunday - November 4th 2018
OUR HOLY COMMUNION WORSHIP

WELCOME TO TRINITY! All Saints celebrates the baptized people of God, living and dead, who are the body of Christ. As November heralds the dying of the landscape in many northern regions, the readings and liturgy call us to remember all who have died in Christ and whose baptism is complete. At the Lord's Table we gather with the faithful of every time and place, trusting that the promises of God will be fulfilled and that all tears will be wiped away in the new Jerusalem. You are always welcome here at Trinity. A special welcome to those who are visiting with us. Please take time to sign our book in the entry leaving both an address and a telephone number.

TODAY WE CELEBRATE HOLY COMMUNION. All who seek the Lord's Grace and forgiveness and are baptized, irrespective of age or denominational membership are welcome to the Lord's Table. Children who have not received communion instruction are invited to come forward for a blessing.

Welcome and Announcements

A Service of Remembrance

L: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of all mercy and the

God of all consolation.

C: He comforts us in all our sorrows so that we can comfort others in their sorrows with the consolation we ourselves have received from God.

L: When we were baptized in Christ Jesus, we were baptized into his death.

C: We were buried therefore with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live a new life.

L: For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with

him in a resurrection like his. C: Thanks be to God!

L: Let us pray. Almighty God, those who die in the Lord still live with you in joy and blessedness. We give you heartfelt thanks for the grace you have bestowed upon your servants who have finished their course in faith and now rest from their labors. Especially do we remember today  Marie L. Pagel, Arlon R. Schmidt, Wesley J. Higgins, Elaine Oelke,  John Martin Radke.

(Silence Is kept for remembrance and thanksgiving)

L: Let us also remember with thanksgiving others who are dear to us and who are now at rest from their labors.

(Silence is kept for remembrance and thanksgiving)

L: May God grant peace to their memory, comfort to their families, and grace to all of us as we seek to live our lives to God's glory!

L: Let us also remember the saints who are new to us, the saints who were baptized this past year. We are born children of a fallen humanity.

C: In the waters of baptism we are reborn children of God and inheritors of eternal life

L: By water and the Holy Spirit we are made members of the Body of Christ.

C: As we live with him and with his people, we grow in faith, love, and obedience to

God.

L: We thank God for the new saints that have come into our midst and we pray for their parents. Especially do we remember today                         Ryker Donlee Klade,              Isabella Hannah Marie Wendt,            Jaydon Mikel Becker,                        Lillie Ann Becker,         Lyra Karoline Digman, Madilyn Avery Lawrence, Emmaleigh Kate Tapia, Alexander Benjamin Tapia, .
