OPENING SONG - My Feet are on the Rock

Verse 1

I can see the clouds roll in

I can feel the winds, they try to shake me

I will not be moved, my feet are on the Rock

Verse 2

I can feel the waters rise

I can hear the howling lies that haunt me

Fear won't hold me now, my feet are on the Rock

Chorus 1

When I feel my hope about to break

I will cling to Your unchanging grace

Let the waters come and the earth give way

I'll be dancing in the rain, my feet are on the Rock

Verse 3

I can see the morning light, I can feel the joy on the horizon

Here my faith is found, I stand on solid ground

Chorus 1

Bridge (3x)

On Christ's solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand

So stomp your feet and clap your hands, our feet are on the Rock

Chorus 1 (2x)

SONG - Blessings

Verse 1

We pray for blessings

We pray for peace comfort for family

Protection while we sleep

We pray for healing for prosperity

We pray for Your mighty hand

To ease our suffering

And all the while You hear each spoken need

Yet love is way too much to give us lesser things

Chorus 1

'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops

What if Your healing comes through tears

And what if a thousand sleepless nights

Are what it takes to know You're near

And what if trials of this life

Are Your mercies in disguise

Verse 2

We pray for wisdom

Your voice to hear

We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near

We doubt Your goodness

We doubt Your love

As if ev'ry promise from Your Word is not enough

And all the while You hear each desp'rate plea

And long that we'd have faith to believe

Bridge

When friends betray us

When darkness seems to win

We know that pain reminds this heart

That this is not this is not our home

It's not our home

Chorus 2

'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops

What if Your healing comes through tears

And what if a thousand sleepless nights

Are what it takes to know You're near

What if my greatest disappointments

Or the aching of this life

Is a revealing of a greater thirst

This world can't satisfy

And what if trials of this life

The rain the storms the hardest nights

Are Your mercies in disguise

INVOCATION

CONFESSION OF SINS & WORDS OF FORGIVENESS

Pastor:  In the name of the Father, and of the + Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

PEOPLE:  AMEN!

Pastor: Beloved in the Lord! Let us draw near with a true heart and confess our sins unto God our Father, beseeching Him in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to grant us forgiveness. Our help is in the name of the Lord,

PEOPLE:  WHO MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH.

Pastor:  I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord.

PEOPLE: AND YOU FORGAVE THE INIQUITY OF MY SIN.

Pastor:  O almighty God, merciful Father,

PEOPLE:  I, A POOR, MISERABLE SINNER, CONFESS UNTO YOU ALL OF MY SINS AND INIQUITIES WITH WHICH I HAVE EVER OFFENDED YOU AND JUSTLY DESERVED YOUR TEMPORAL AND ETERNAL PUNISHMENT. BUT I AM HEARTILY SORRY FOR THEM AND SINCERELY REPENT OF THEM, AND I PRAY YOU OF YOUR BOUNDLESS MERCY AND FOR THE SAKE OF THE HOLY, INNOCENT, BITTER SUFFERINGS AND DEATH OF YOUR BELOVED SON, JESUS CHRIST, TO BE GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL TO ME, A POOR, SINFUL BEING.

Pastor: Upon this your confession, I, by virtue of my office, as a called and ordained servant of the Word, announce the grace of God unto all of you, and in the stead and by the command of my Lord Jesus Christ I forgive you all of your sins in the name of the Father and of the +Son and of the Holy Spirit.

PEOPLE: AMEN.

APOSTLE'S CREED

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

OUR GIFTS AND TITHES FOR GOD

SONG - Goodness of God

Verse 1

I love You Lord. Oh Your mercy never fails me

All my days I've been held in Your hands

From the moment that I wake up

Until I lay my head I will sing of the goodness of God

Chorus 1

All my life You have been faithful

All my life You have been so so good

With every breath that I am able

I will sing of the goodness of God

Verse 2

I love Your voice. You have led me through the fire

In darkest night You are close like no other

I've known You as a father

I've known You as a friend

I have lived in the goodness of God

Bridge

Your goodness is running after, It’s running after me

Your goodness is running after, It’s running after me

With my life laid down, I’m surrendered now

I give You everything,

Your goodness is running after, It's running after me

OUR PRAYERS & THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen
